cap always splits

"i have been buying the multi for many years. I don't know what's going on with the cap, it keeps splitting and I am unable to close the mascara. This happened several times. I keep purchasing it and hope that the cap does not split."

Does not work as advertised

"I bought this Almay product at my local drugstore yesterday because of its "hypoallergenic" advertising. It went on very clumpy and with visable dots of mascara. No amount of curling or brushing changed it. I had to remove most of it. Now, after about 15 minutes, my eyes have started to itch. Obviously, I won't be buying again."

Will be returning. VERY disappointing!

"Never written review on mascara but this mascara Almag length and lift waterproof is a disaster! I have used Almay exclusively for probably 15 years so after I couldn't get reasonable description on Almay mascaras on Amazon, I actually drove to the store and bought 2 since I wanted to make sure I am getting waterproof ones. Trying it out, the "wand" comes out LOADED with mascara! There is no way of scraping off the excess without making a huge mess. The "how to use" on this site says "Wipe any excess color off of the wand with a paper towel", well that would just about the entire tube!! It goes on the lashes like clumps of black stuff. I suppose some might like it that way. I really don't. To me that doesn't enhance my natural lashes, it makes them look like clown lashes. It does dry fast, so no smearing once it's on and thus far it's not irritating my eyes. But it has been only 1 hour and I haven't even tried to remove it so I am not sure how that goes. Needless to say I am returning the not opened one and hopefully they're willing to take the open one! Greatly disappointed with Alamy."

Amazing! I've never felt such relief!

"Any time I had put my old mascara on I wanted to literally scratch my eyes out, they would water, irritate me and by the time I get to work I didn't have my make-up on anymore and my eyes were swollen. I called and spoke to my mom, and she suggested Almay. I went to Walmart bought it that night, because you know moms are never wrong. I tried this mascara as well as one of the eyeliners. I am in total shock; I haven't wanted to scratch my eyes once and it really feels like nothing is there, it's so lightweight. I will continue to buy your products. Thank you for giving me such relief Almay!!!!"

Concerned about my lashes

"I love the way it's thick and goes on quickly, however. Since day ONE when I stroke the lashes somehow the mascara is pulling my lashes out. I've used it now for 10 days and will take the other one back (because I bought 2 so wouldn't have to go back for a while) I've never had mascara do this before. I'll have to go back to my L'Oréal Luminous. So disappointed 😞"

Worst recent fórmula change

"I have been a loyal customer of this product but 1 month ago I went to buy it and the surprise was that it had changed its image and when I used it I realized that it was not just the image but everything: they made it very liquid, with a very different texture than the previous version and the worst of all My eyes burn (like with regular eyelashes), as if the components had also changed. It didn't improve at all, the previous version of the product was better"
